Privacy Policy

In short: Price Magnet has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no trackers. We do not collect or sell personal data. The only personal information we ever receive is the email address you type yourself when you send us an exchange request — and we use it solely to reply to you.

Who we are

Price Magnet is developed by dBIT (Netherlands). You can reach us at info@dbit.net. This policy covers both the Price Magnet iOS app and the website price-magnet.com.

What the app does with your data

Market data — the app fetches price data directly from Binance (crypto) and Yahoo Finance (gold and silver futures) from your device. Those services see your IP address as part of a normal internet request; nothing is routed through our servers.
BloFin API credentials (optional) — if you connect a read-only BloFin API key, it is stored encrypted in your device's Keychain and used only to fetch your open positions directly from BloFin. Your credentials and positions never leave your device to us or anyone else.
Settings — display preferences are stored locally on your device only.

Exchange requests

If you use "Request an exchange" in the app, you send us your email address and your message. These are delivered to us by email (info@dbit.net) so we can reply to your request. To prevent abuse, our server temporarily stores a rate-limit counter tied to your IP address for at most 48 hours; the IP is also included in the request email. We do not use this information for anything else, and we do not share it with third parties.

The website

price-magnet.com is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Cloudflare processes IP addresses as part of serving and protecting the site; see the Cloudflare privacy policy.

What we don't do

No advertising, no ad networks.
No analytics or usage tracking of any kind.
No selling or sharing of personal data.
No accounts, no profiles.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you (in practice: the email you sent us). Email info@dbit.net and we will take care of it.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
